To all my fellow veterans, I’d like to thank you for your service to our country. Have a Happy Veterans Day!
Here are a few portraits of veterans I’ve made over the years:
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (15 Sept. – 15 Oct. ) I’ve added a photo gallery of my artwork pieces that reflect Hispanic Heritage.
These are some of the portraits I’ve painted of prominent figures of African-American heritage for Black History Month.
This drawing is based on a book cover illustration that I saw many years ago (from the 1970s by author Gunter Grass). It took me about forty years to get around to drawing it, but here it is.
My painting of Emmett Kelly won First Place at the Spokane VA Creative Arts Festival this year! I just found out yesterday that it won third place at the National Competition!
This is my latest digital portrait, Charles Dickens. Painted with Adobe Fresco on an iPad Pro.
Charles Dickens was a 19th Century Author. He penned A Christmas Carol and many other Victorian era novels, such as A Tale of Two Cities, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, etc.
These monster portraits were done a few months ago for an art contest called, “Universal Monsters: Out of the Shadows” by Universal Pictures based on their famous monsters.
I painted these with #AdobeSketch on an iPad Pro #Halloween2021 #universalmonsters
These are a series of portraits of famous monsters (and some not-so-famous) that I’ve painted for Halloween over the the past few years. Enjoy!
I had the privilege of doing a digital art demo to some of the members of River Ridge Association of Fine Arts in Spokane, Washington. Working on this piece was part of the demo.
Thanks, RRAFA!
